Hello;

What is difference between using delta/delta and delta/wye transformer for a 3 phase bridge rectifier?? which vector group is better and why??

I talked to a transformer manufacturer and he said use a delta/delta transformer in your circuit. But in that case I wonder from where the rectifier gets the reference??

Can anybody plz guide??

Regards~

Many Thanx~~

Actually my concern is specifically for rectifier application. I want to know the effects of using secondary as Y or Delta with respect to rectifier? Like if I use secondary as Delta then from where I will use the reference for rectifier output side??

regards~
