Hi.,

Thanks for the replies. Got a solution for my previous post and it works.

I've another clarification.

What is the current rating should i use for powering up a 12V relay?

Am using 12V 1amps. Is it Okay?

And also how to determine the current ratings for a device?

current needed to energize a relay all depends on the relay!
how are you energizing the relay?


same with the current capacity - how many lamps?

if there are no marking, look at similar devices [especially the contacts] to get an idea as to current capacity
 

AT first sight, the thread title is unrelated to the question. Please clarify what you are actually asking for.
