The transfer matrix method is a great technique for modeling devices as 1D stacks of slabs. You can download our notes and listen to our lectures on youtube by visiting **broken link removed**.

Hi Prof. Rrumpf,

I am very interest in computational electromagnetic, especially your lecture's. But i am looking for a lecture about TMM for inhomogeneous material. Could you please have brief of introduction about that?

Sure. The most common "TMM" for inhomogeneous media are the Method of Lines and Rigorous Coupled-Wave Analysis. These are also covered in my later lectures. Glad you are enjoying them! I appreciate the feedback.
