transfer file from one pc to another pc

is there any terminal that transmit file via rs232 and recieve that file. if any please help me with tutorial
 

You can do it with Hyperterminal (which is part of most Windows operating systems).

okey but its using modem and i want to use serially at baud rate of 9600.
 

As far as I know you can use Hyperterminal with or without a modem.

but when i send file then its ask me for protocols and what will be the method of getting file as i am sending and recieving jpeg file or audio file
 

It probably doesn't matter too much as long as you use the same protocol for sending and receiving! Try Kermit or Zmodem.
