Can anyone tell me if the ci of texas, TRF7960, read and write Mifare cards?

Basically no matter what Transceiver chip you used, you need to know the communication protocol been used between the reader and the tag....ie, the sync bit, header, how long is the data bits and then from there you can extract the data you want from the tag.
