Tracking boost PFC suffers inrush problem

Hello,

I wish to do a SMPS (200W) with a Tracking Boost PFC front end.

The tracking boost, as you know, can suffer particularly badly from inrush when the input mains supply suddenly returns from brown_out or black_out.

Do you know if there are any integrated circuits designed to deal with this?

What it will need is a comparator with leading edge blanking to sense the current across an inrush current sense resistor.
This comparator will need hysteresis.
The comparator chip should also have a MOSFET driver integrated onto it as it will need to quickly turn off an N-Type MOSFET -and be able to handle the large current spike due to discharge of the MOSFET gate.

-The MOSFET will be needed to switch in/out an inrush resistor.

The comparator will preferably have an on-chip reference.

Also, the chip will need to have a reference voltage available as an output on a pin.........this ref voltage pin should be able to supply say 10mA.

...If such a chip exists, it will sell all over the world in huge quantities, since it will provide a low component count solution to the tracking boost PFC inrush problem.

Does any reader know if such a chip already exists?
