Re: toll road RFID antenna

I want to know what type of antenna is used in TOLL ROAD RFID applications working in this frequency range: 2350-2450MHz...

also if anyone can provide me with the specifications of this prticular antenna, like length and width of the patch, length ,width and thickness of substrate and dielectric constant value...

Also I may need a simulated antenna file on HFSS..

thanx

kindly reply with ur suggestions..I need them really badly...thanks

Re: toll road RFID antenna

They are usually a phased array of patches. Many such antennas today have the patches fed through slots excited by a trace extending beyond the slot. This is a multilayer board, but it separates the transmission line layer from the radiating layer so both can be independently optimized.
