Driving CCD, right ? Dallas MCU DS89C40 or DS89C420/450? it must be DS89C420/450, as far i know, its MCU, not have internal ADC, which should be introduce on designing CCD based project.

So, you must look for ADC, with enough sampling rate (high)

from TCD2557D datasheet ...

The TCD2557D is a high sensitive and low dark current
5340 elements x 3 line CCD color image sensor which
includes CCD drive circuit, clamp circuit and sample and
hold circuit.
The sensor can be used for image scanner. The device
contains a row of 5340 x 3 photodioeds, which provide a
24 lineslmm (600DPI) across a A4 size paper. The divice is
operated by 5 V (Pulse), and 12 V power supply....

findout on www.maxim-ic.com or https://www.analog.com/en/ or google for an ADC

thank you ,it is muc ds89c450,i am trying ,but the sequence signals are difficult to control,
