Hi,

I created a macro in cadence design environment.
Anyone please tell me how to create a .library model, .lef, .atpg file for a macro.
Thanks in advance.

The cadence analog tool could generate an abstract .lef.
For ATPG, I usually generate it with custom script the ATPG model.
And for the liberty, you could used quick lib in primetime.
Your macro, need to be visible for ATPG? Or could you treat this one has black box?

For the liberty file, is there any option in the tool or from the command line.??

Hi mit1986,

Assuming that the macro has been completed (routed) and need .libs for STA environment setup.
man do_extract_model in EDI environment, and it will list out the options / switches for generating the .libs from the PNR environment.

normally, .libs will be generated from the PT/ ETS which ever u use as sign off tool.

incase if you need spef's for the extracted STA runs, rcOut is the command.

Adding to Lohi21,

PrimeTime,Encounter Timing System and Altos.

Altos has been recently acquired by cadence.
