adc + pc

Hi everyone
I have an adc with tlc7135 and at89c52. I need to take serial data out of it. but a chip with rx and tx pin is missing from the circuit. it is a dip16. can anyone has this circuit or any idea what this chip is. can i take serial data directly from tlc7135. Please suggest. thanks

tlc7135

TLC7135 is a ADC specifically designed to drive a LCD or LED display and that is how its outputs are configured as mentioned in the datasheet. So if u want to use it you can use it as a parallel input device to the PC using the Parallel port. If u want to stick with a serial ADC I think you could look into AD7890 (Datasheet Attached)

you can read BCD value by your mcu and send it to serial port
