I have seen tiny RTOS code on internet , but there was only context switch feature and nothing more .
But you can use the MuCOS and change the configuration so only necessary features will be used and accordingly less memory and resources will be spent .

FREE Tiny Preemptive RTOS For Embedded Applications
scmRTOS is a little Real-Time Operation System

intended for use with Single-Chip Microcontrollers.
scmRTOS is capable to run on small uCs with as little
amount of RAM as 512 bytes.

Written on EC++. All source code is available.
Two target platforms are supported now (corresponding ports available):
MSP430 (Texas Instruments);
AVR (Atmel)


scmRTOS may be freely distributed and used in non-commercial and
commercial projects, but its contents should be left unchanged.

For information about MuCOS it is better to read Jean Labrosse book “µC/OS, The Real-Time Kernel” .
