Hi

I would like to ask about the possibility to make a time synchronization using the angular power frequency (60Hz or 50Hz) to use it instead of using the GPS clock.

As we know that there are some applications using the GPS clock in the power system as a reference signal and also to stamp a synchronized time to the measurement readings.

Now if we need to make that issue using the power frequency. Is there any article or paper explain this issue?

Thanks in advance

Not accurate enough.
power line is +/- .1Hz, but averaged over 24 hours it's pretty accurate (a few seconds on a clock).

Thanks Johansen for your kind reply

So, where I can find a schematic for the electric clock?
