HI friends im posting my UPS project file can anybody tell me how to detect mains fail and switch to battery mode in less than 5 ms......


All most i have written code for other modules my problem is only mains failed detect which i should bring it to less than 5 milli second.
i am getting it to 160 ms..I m using pic microcontroller.
can anybody help me plzzzzzzzzzzzz.


give me techinal papers regarding mains failed detection in line interactive UPS...

why you want a new post for the same problem when one is active

Added after 5 minutes:

your main problem is you are using zero interrupt for checking the presence of mains signal (10ms) the code you given is not correct or full (the interrupt part)
