hi friends

please tell me the relation between the Delay slew load arrival time required time.

i mean in the column of the timing report, how ti get the arrival time

i have setup time violation, what i have to do to get the positive slack.(how to reduce the arrival time ? ).

please give me the detail explanation.

thanks in advance.

Re: timing report

One way to reduce arrival time is to reduce the Combinational logic between start point and end point(on the top of the report you cna find). Another way , to introduce pipeline register. With this you are splitting the combinatonal logic so you get +ve slack.

Re: timing report

you can use command "set_critical_range" and "group_path".

Usually, this will lead the tool to optimize the critical path.
