The LPC(Linear Predictive coding) problem

I am doing on LPC(Linear Predictive coding) to get better synthesis result.
one thing i tried is square root the e(n) (error) between the X[n] and X`[n]

And the sound really get better result to my system.

but I can not figure out why, hoping anybody would give some information.

Any information would be appreciated.
I really need your helps since it's urgent.
