i want to know the formula through which sampling rate of analog to digital converter is calculated. it is 3-bit ADC made of single electron transistor.

the quantizer output gives 8 steps in 1 sec.
if anybody knows plz reply

i even want some sampling to be done but do not have any idea what to do for coding? can anyone help. im using MPLAB for PIC16F877A.
