Could any one please explain the differences between....

1) I2C bus core

2) I2C bus controller core

3) I2C master core

4) I2C slave core

Hi,sujith,I think you should give more information about these cores.
in the literal meaning, I guess:
1) and 2) can refer the same thing, they may either be a I2C master core
or a slave core, or even a core with master controller and slave controller.

3) refers to a core that only implement I2C master protocal, and can only
been used as an I2C master controller.

4) refers to a core that only implement I2C slave protocal, and can only
been used as an I2C slave controller.

Any way, I am not very sure about my answer.
