hI GUYS

IS THERE ANY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GROUND CURRENT AND QUISCENT CURRENT IN LDO DESIGN? IS THERE MEANS CAN YOU GIVE INFORMATION ON THIS?

DOUBT ON LDO DESIGN

Nop, they are the same

Re: DOUBT ON LDO DESIGN

yah i think there is no difference between the 2 currents

Re: DOUBT ON LDO DESIGN

I think they can be different sometimes. If you have a pull down on one of your pins (for ex: EN pin on LDO), ground current can be different from quiescent current.

If you measure the current on gnd node they are same always. but if we measure quiescent current going into supply(VDD) node and gnd current from GND node , then they will be different.
