Hi,
I want to implement bluetooth 2.1 in a product where there is an 8 bit microcontroller and few sensors and leds. My plan was to use HC_05 bluetooth module which is available for around
3.5 $ in bulk. I need only serial profile (SPP). Now pls tell me which is the best way, ie using a module or putting bluetooth chips (some ti chips) and a microcontroller having the bluetooth stack.
Which method will be good if we are considering cost and power consumption.

Hi,

I am also planning to use HC-05 Bluetooth module in one of my project and interface with STM32F100XXX micro-controller.
Please tell me, it is good or not. In my project Power consumption is not a issue only working is fine and reliable for long long period.

Regards,
