hi,

I have made a wireless point-to-point link. I have performed some Packet error rate (PER) tests. For the tests, the data that I randomly selected was '12345678' ASCII characters. Each packet consisted of these 8 bytes + 2 bytes CRC-CCITT used for error detection. I want to know whether I will get a similar %PER if I chose some other data or not. And if not, can I get a little bit of explaination regarding the problem.
Also, how can I justify the selected data by which I performed the tests?
Looking forward for an urgent reply.
