heres a youtube of the OSD output from UAV controller....

**broken link removed**

this is a layout test and NMEA parsing test..

we are using the etek eb 85 a but in the test its only like 4 or 5 sats since its indoors....(usually get like 9 or 10 outside)...

this OSD portion will have a windows GUI frontend to set threshold values for HDOP, VDOP and PDOP.... also for battery voltage and current meter incators to make them blink when it gets too low!!

you can also change the screen change time to whatever u want... and add more data to the display.

only text right now... but gonna make a graphical one near the end of the year (waiting on the pic 32...)

this is done on a dspic 33. (40 MIPS)

also have a full 6 DOF IMU on it.

also has socket for Xbee modules for telemetry link.

can control upto 8 servos at 5 volts.

has 8 IO for analog or whatever... (yes you can use DMA on them!!)

full 3.3, gnd , 5.0 power planes...

I2C, SPI, UART, ICSP ports!!!

small 2" x 2.5" size.

quality 6 layer board.
