I am reading a book about DC/DC converters titled: advanced DC/DC converters".
I have found two terms that are somewhat vague for me. I will be grateful if someone explain them to me.
the terms are "power series" and "power-Law" in below sentences.

the sentences are:

"This chapter introduces a
novel approach — the positive output cascade boost converter — that implements
the output voltage increasing in geometric progression, but with
simpler structure. They also effectively enhance the voltage transfer gain in
power-law."

Super-Lift (SL) technique is more powerful
than VL technique, its voltage transfer gain can be a very large number.
SL technique implements the output voltage increasing in geometric progression.
It effectively enhances the voltage transfer gain in power series.
