telephone set to DSP start kit input

When I want to connect telephone set(not telephone line)to a DSP
kit,How can I desinged the circuit without a SLIC chip?
I use the TI C6711DSK.

Thank you very much for any idea.
 

Hi

It's depend on what you are trying to do

smaple audio from the phone line connect a 600:600 transformer with a 2.2 uf /200V cap in series directlry to the phone line

you can also inject signal using this simple circuit dirctly to the phone line
