Tantalum cap ripple voltage rating?

Please may i refer to the TPME106K050 Tantalum capacitor (50V, 10uF).

Datasheet...

...on the third page , at the top it has a title "100KHz ripple voltage ratings"

for my capacitor (50V, 10uF) , the ripple voltage rating is a mizerly 180mV.

Can this be right?

Are tantalum capacitors really so delicate that 180mV of ripple voltage is too much for them?

also...what would happen to the tant cap if i expose it to 200mV of ripple voltage?

...will it explode?
 

Reading the said datasheet twice should make you understand, how they achieved their rather unusual ripple voltage specifications, simply by multiplying max. ESR with ripple current. I'm not really motivated to explain in detail, why I regard the voltage ripple specification as completely meaningless. You may want to refer to the ripple current specification instead, as it's given by all competitors exclusively. The ripple current value in contrast is remarkable high. If required, considerably higher ripple currents are achieved by ceramic capacitors however. 10u/50V is a value in reach for ceramic capacitors meanwhile, 4.7u/50 is already available in common 1210 package.
