Switch a negative powersupply?

I have a question:
I want to switch a negative powersupply (on and off).
I have a controller (open drain,pull-up outputs).

This was my idea: (I wont work because the current cant flow through the fet)

While switching negative power with N-Channel MOSFET it's better idea to use optocoupler .. see attached picture ..
