Greetings Reader,

I am simulating an amplifier (A simple one)
The amp is merely a differential pair with a tail current source and resistive load. Differential Input Differential output.

I placed 2 ports at the Gates of the Pair - each of them having first and second sinusoid amplitude set to pin in dBm
and swept pin in a swept PSS analysis to determine the IIP3 in dBm.

I'm new to RF; so, my concern is I used to simulate OpAmps using AC analysis and to get the gain the input Volt should be +1/2 V at Vin+ and Vin- with 180 degrees of phase for Vin- and then measure the output in dB20 as the Voltage Gain.

The Inquiry is : Should I be changing pin in the port parameters to (say pin-3 dBm) -similar to the Vin/2 at each input- to calculate the proper IIP3 or should I keep them as pin (both ports with 180 degrees of phase for the negative input port)

Thank you for reading
