sun55 is refering to 32-bit Solaris 2.5.x while sun57 refers to 32/64-bit Solaris 7. In the newer version of hspice, it has sun58 for Solaris 8 instead of sun57.
Hi, I install HSPice2002 into Blade 100 and successfuly. However, when I run awaves, it always looking for sun55 folder, not sun57 folder, and report errot: awaves not found.
What's your exact solaris version, 2.5 or 2.7? Basically, hspice detect machine's platform by using the program called "get_arch" in $hsp_dir/bin. It seem you are using solaris 2.5 then hspice has found that and require program from directory sun55. If this my guess is true, delete your old sun57 dir and unpack sun55 instead.
Anyway, you can try to make a symbolic link from sun57 to be sun55 and try using the program from sun57 dir. I'm not sure it can work but it's worth to try.
