Dear All,

Can anybody suggest me some sensors,
My requirement is
Measure the Distance of object within 2Metre range.
Sensors should be to small to fit in Mobile.

Thanks and regards,
Hrishikesh.

I suggest a triangulation method.

Sharp makes the GP2Y3A003K0F for 40 to 300 cm (https://media.digikey.com/pdf/Data Sheets/Sharp PDFs/GP2Y3A003K0F.pdf). It also makes devices for shorter range.

As an alternative, **broken link removed** makes an analog reflective IR sensor that can be used for ranging based on intensity of the reflected signal. However, I think the need to standardize other variables would make that approach less desirable.
