I think you should really decide exactly what you want to do, then read their datasheets! Do I guess correctly that you want TI parts because you can get free samples?
TI's range of MSP430 mcu's are good, especially for low power. I also like the MSC12xx range for mixed-signal stuff.
I don't think they do voice record/playback - check their web site.
They do a few audio amps, but only small ones iirc. They have a couple of class-D chips. Not of interest to me as I like big audiophile amps. They do have some nice power opamps though...
Power supply??? 1.8V, 5V, 230V, SMPS, linear, boost, buck, isolated, etc etc. What do you want?
