please suggest some recent topics for doing phd in OFDM communication which could be done using matlab.

Try to look at the problems whit new 4g technologies, like beamforming or penetration, or technologies that can help to increase signals on indoor enviorement, and give solutions for this.

Why not "OFDM in multiuser systesm" or "OFDM in cooperative communication", or "interference cancellation in OFDM"..
 

I have found your post and the web link to be useful.i would like to start in beamforming technique.Can you spot any current issue in resource allocation in MIMO-OFDM.
