Kindly Suggest me in communicating single microcontroller with multiple Controllers, through RS232 Communication.

Re: Suggestion Required.

YOU CAN USE MULTIPLEXER ICS ALSO

ALSO IF YOU DONT WANT TO INVEST IN THAT YOU CAN MAKE PROTOCOL BY
A START BYTE OR YOU CAN SAY A DEVICE ADDRESS

LIKE WE ARE HAVING A MASTER CONTROLLER AND WANTS TO COMMUNICATES WITH 2 OTHERS THAN IT CAN SEND 0X01 FOR 1ST AND 0X02 FOR OTHER

IF THE OTHER TWO CONTROLLERS RECIEVE THEIR DEVICE ADDRESS THAT CONTROLLER START COMMUNICATING

Suggestion Required.

Is there any reason to go with RS232.
U can use CAN for better communication and u can have many controller on single bus.

but if you want to go with RS232, u have to design ur own protocol like vikramprataapsingh
suggested.
