Subthreshold current reference

Hi,
Below attached image shows circuit for subthreshold current reference. I am having trouble in designing. How to approach to find W/L values of transistors and how to design a startup circuit. Circuit given is straight forward. It uses one current source and current sink and takes the difference between them to produce temperature constant current source.
Please help as i do not know how to bias in subthreshold region and designing of current reference.
