Streams-C

This's EDA tool based on SystemC. It's free for non-comercial use. More here: **broken link removed**

Well, it is not based on SystemC but presents similarities. It features a superset of the C language, mostly for concurrent constructs so hardware functionality can be inferred.

It is quite interesting as well as SpecC or Transmognifier-C or the obsolete CHDL. All of them are similar projects.

It is sad none of them (except SystemC and a little of Handel-C) have over-critical-mass acceptance.
