strange letters in character lcd

hi,plz help me
i design a board that control 10 conductor(ac220) by use of 10 dc relay
i use lcd
the program run very well but in the lcd somtimes apears a strange letters.
is it noise in my circuit?how i terminate this noise? 8-O

yes<it work very well
i make a board with micro avr+uln2803+relay 12v+chracter lcd20*4+(conductor220vac)
i control conductor with relays(220vac is on relay's contacts that control conductor)
when i on or off relay with micro&uln2803 strange letters apears on lcd
when number of conductor increase this strange letter increase too
but the program on micro execute very well
what's this strange letters?
how can i terminate them?
