Storage/Database for PIC18F84A

I'm working on a project.. a security type lock using a fingerprint scanner..

I'm new to microcontrollers and currently studying about them, is there any way to create a storage or database for "Fingerprints" and atleast "4-6 combination password" using PIC18F84A.. I was thinking of using a USB Flash drive.

Can anyone give me tips or ideas on where I should start? :-|

Can use a microSD card to store finger prints. password can be store in PIC.

Fingerprint module already storage the fingerprint. No need add more storage. This project Fingerprint Access, you can refer.

hum the pic18f84a doesnt exists...
don't you really use a 16f84a ???
in that case this pic if far too old and too small to do this project...
