I have a board that runs an STM8S103 and does not do quite what I want. Instead of buying a different one I want to just re-write the firmware to my exact needs. I have never used the SWIM interface though so I do not know what I need to program them.

I have a J-Link and FTDI based JTAG debuggers so If I can use them somehow that would be great, if not is their any serial or parallel port programmers that are open source?

Thanks!
