STM32 soft example code compilation problem

Dear Folks,

I got a STM32 Value line discovery board from ST. I wanted to get started with it, I downloaded the Firmware from this link STM32VLDISCOVERY - STMicroelectronics . I extracted example codes to a folder and opened thorough a IAR workbench 5.4 version as per this doc https://www.st.com/internet/com/TECHNICAL_RESOURCES/TECHNICAL_LITERATURE/USER_MANUAL/CD00283778.pdf. But I couldn't able compile the code it is giving some errors....

1. when I go for option Rebuild giving " Tool internal error... Instruction error from assembler " in a dialog box.

2. If i give ok to that dialog box it start compiling and gives 9 errors...


I know its a simple mistake from my side please guide...
