hi,

some of the application notes on stepping motor ramping (for e.g. trapezoidal profile,..) usually describe the algorithm when the targetted set point is fixed, and usually the motor is supposed to move to the current targeted set point first before it can move to the new set point.

Is there any stepping motor profiling algorithm which allows us to move the motor to track the set point as the set point is changing?

thanks for any suggestion.
