Hello,
Can someone please tell me when micro stepping is really essential? I am new to this, on the web I see people care to have this ability in their controller. But is it really that important? For example, so far as I understand, having dense thread on a leadscrew of a cnc machine can move it shorter area if needed. Anyway, it will be very good if someone points me to the real sectors where micro stepping is really a must have. Thanks a lot.
