What are the differences between the above two types of dividers, i am aware that the static type of dividers are based on D-FF´s whereas the Dynamic aproach is either based on Regenerative feedback or Injection Locking...
My question is that why are they called "Static" and "Dynamic".....is it something related to power consumption..?
I would think that the static and dynamic are more related to digital side of things. The transitor level implementation of the D-FF can be of Pull-Up/Pull Down network, E-TSPC, or TSPC which for the E-TSPC and TSPC are dynamic.
