I would like to ask what a state machine will synthesize to ? a multiplexer ?

i did not understood what your question is about?

Is it a synthesizable state-machine or a multiplexer? Can you be little clear!
 

i mean what hardware results from state machine code ?
 

State machine will get synthesized to sequential Logic.
 

A sequential logic which has a combo logic feedback.
