Hello experts

I am having stabilizer at home. problem is It gives same output as input for 200v.
input 200v =output 200v
But if input goes below 200v then it gives increased value. what can be the reason, which component should i change so that i can get 220-230v output at 200v input.

please help

Thank you,

Regards,
ankur

It is important you mention how many taps exist in the transformer, as well the input/output and measured threshold for other voltage ranges.

Their could be many reason t make it not to function properly ,if the relays or the switching transistor are bad it will not work and if they are okay then you can check if their is variable resistors and set it to a required setting...

Insufficient information. If it is a Relay type Stabiliser you should mention the number of relays or tappings of auto transformer as post #2, input range, output tolerance etc.

It seems that the stabiliser is working properly. Please note, some stabilisers are so designed that the input is made through bypassing auto transformer if input falls within the output range. If you like to have an output of 220V - 230V for input of 200, you shall have to design the auto transformer accordingly.

Voltage stabilizers are used in electric networks presumed not very reliable, which means that the voltage of 200v you measured perhaps is resulted from a distortion in the waveform. It is also recommend you examine the input with an oscilloscope.
