[STA] Transition time - how tools calculate this?

Hi All,

How do tools know to calculate transition time of the signals in STA and Logic Synthesis? Where do they take this info from?

ok, but transition time depends on the load (capacitance) as well. So, how do the tools calculate it for the different loads?

BTW, could you upload some *.lib file for example?
