fpga spi adc

Hi

I need to design an SPI MASTER (which sits in FPGA ) to communicate with the (16-Bit, 100 kSPS/200 kSPS BiCMOS AD977/AD977A)A/D Converter of analog devices.

Can anyone tell me how to proceed?

thank you

fpga with adc

look at the waveform explained in the datasheet. create a simple state machine to read the serial data .
just google SPI interface . you will be able to get lot of sample codes.
Least to mention carefull about the timing mentioned in the datasheet.
