spherical wave expansion

Suppose a sphere, S, just completely encloses an antenna, can information be extracted from IE3D simulation or from HFSS simulation to use to expand the radiated fields outside S due to the antenna in a spherical wave expansion?
If so, how could this be accomplished. Thanks for your insights

ie3d expansion

If you are looking for the coefficients in the spherical wave expansion, look somewhere else. IE3D and HFSS would not give this kind of information.

If you are simply looking for the radiated far field, I suppose the radiation pattern is what you want.
