sphere decoding matlab

Anybody tell about how sphere decoding algorithm works campared with ML decoding.....

how to simulate Rayleigh channel in Matlab and what are the parameters requires for that....

Need it urgently....pls

sphere decoder matlab

- ML decoder: huge complexity for system with large number of antennas and large modulation size.

- Sphere decoder: it is near the same ML performance with reasonable complexity.

- I think to simulate rayleigh channel in Matlab, firstly you should perform by ML decoder because it is easier. After that, if you want to check by sphere decoder, you change only the kind of performance.

sphere decoding

thank you very much ...

Iam not understand , how sphere decoding work... Pls check the below attachmemt if possible help me... In that attachment There is a binary tree figure is used to find the Min distance for decoding... finally algorithm is there ... can you try and make me to understand...

sphere decoder

Here are some good things to read..I actually did my masters on MIMO OFDDM using the sphere decoding( click the help button if I helped) :

Hi, I have been programming sphere decoders but I am not having any success, can you please tell me from where I can find MATLAB programs related to the sphere decoding

Re: sphere decoder

Hi Azaz104,
plz can you give me your sphere decoding source code because i used many codes but, they didn't gave me the expected results!!!
Thx

Dear Mr. Azaz104

Regarding to the word file under the title :"sphere_decoder_1203.doc", What is reference [40]?
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks a lot
