Hi all,

I need your help in a Speech recognition project (erroneously called Voice recognition) in which we are asked to implement DSP algorithms to convert speech to text.

Really I have no experience in such a topic, so any help will be appreciated.

you can use Neuaral Networks (NN) as well.
Some of my friends try some types of Neural Networks and get good results.
you can train your NN and then have learned model implemented on DSP.
