Speech codec IC for processing voice from telephone line

I need a help here.
Iwant to process a voice signal from telephone line (single channel)
so that it can be processed digitally.
What speech codec ic should I use for this application.

Yes, considering the price and the needs of my apllication (mono).
I've checked in Internet and I found ic AD73311 which is a speech codec IC and can be used in telephony application.

Do you have any suggestion?

u can use any A/D or codec Ic
