Help! Brushless motor

Who is familiar with the specification or performance of pick and place machine whose X-Y postion system is DC burshless servo motor. I want to know how many operations in a period of time in currently industrial applications.

I you are planning to create a pick and place robot you can use a dc motor, but you need to incorporate sensors, or you can also use stepper motor, but stepper motor is far less when it comes in torque but it is more precise ..... Hope this help ....
