When setting up ports in FDTD simulations to compute s-parameters
I have run into 2 kinds of problems:

1) If I use a lumped resistive voltage source with a fixed resistance then the actual resistance
seems to vary with frequency. This makes computing of wideband s-parameters painful

2) Also the positioning of the source and the location of the paths to compute
voltage/current sometimes strongly affects the results.

Can anybody enlighten me as to how I can avoid these problems?
